Aseops Fables

What are Aesop's Fables? Long ago, in Ancient Greece, there lived a slave called Aesop. He seems to have been an ugly little man, but people liked him because he told such amusing stories; they were 'fables', or stories with a moral. Aesop was a very observant man, who noticed other people's faults, and wove them into his stories, often making the people themselves into animals. When his master, King Croesus, sent him with some money to Delphi, for instance, the greedy people asked for more, and Aesop told them the story of :- The Greedy Dog The Bell on the Cat The Hare and the Fox The Fox and the Grapes The Fox and the Crow The Wolf and the Lamb more world famous characters Aesop's fables.
