Butterfly

Saira wrote the novel 'Butterfly' when she was ten and a half years old, making her the youngest novelist in the country. Saira is now thirteen years old. Judging by the title, one might assume it's a fairy tale written by a child, but the inspiration came from the hardships of her classmates faced due to their parents' divorces. She first heard about ‘divorce’ from a friend when she was in the second grade. Over the next few months, more classmates experienced similar family separations, and Saira attempted to console them, but her efforts often fell short. Motivated by a desire to write on the problems faced by children her age, Saira completed the novel in just nine days. Today, she is excelling not only in writing but also in singing and scriptwriting for advertisements. Saira's novel 'Butterfly' has been published by Anvikshiki Publications. Saira has also authored nine other stories. Saira is working on a collection of her stories which will be available soon.
